The film is “full” of Italian cooking and eating, but some fans specifically rave over the scene where Olympia makes the bird’s nests out of thick slices of Italian bread with a hole in the middle for the fried egg. The movie was part of the motivation for the eponymous Moonstruck Diner. The menu is chock-full of variety, but the most popular dishes are the salads served with hot and delicious toasted pita. Take note of the glow of the tiling and décor while dining in the restaurant—when the moon hits your eye, that’s amore.

Went ot go eat there the other night found the place closed by the NYC Health Department. Will never eat there again try other local places.

Horrible food, half the items on the order didn't arrive or was not what the menu described it as, the other half was inedible. threw it in the garbage and ordered from a different diner.

They got my order wrong, I ordered a Greek salad, and I said no anchovies, and they put anchovies. I ordered extra dressing for the salad, which they charge extra and they did not put it in the bag. I called the place to correct the problem and they give me an attitude, there excuse is we are too busy. I guess if they are too busy and just want my money and not good quality service, I can do my business elsewhere.

The food was good with generous portions and the prices are not bad. The order got to me in a reasonable amount of time. There was one error with the order. When I called they were very apologetic and sent the replacement in minutes. I will defiantly order from Moonstruck again.

The customer service for deliveries from this restaurant is awful. I live 3 blocks away and it took an hour for a milkshake and slice of cake to be delivered. Then to top it all off, the cake was really bad.

2 slices of microwaved (tasting) french toast per order for $6.50. It's robbery..never order again from here.

Love the food....unfortunately service plays a bigger role for me. I order from the diner at least once a week for over a year. When they screw up my order, give me grief about THEIR mistake and take an additional hour to get the correct food order to my door (I am 2 blocks from the diner) , that is it for me. Not to mention, not even one apology, just attitude. Back to my trusty Ritz diner. Moonstruck.....service does matter!

Charming diner with consistently good breakfast/lunch/dinner food. Ridiculously large portions for their dinner menu items. When we go there to sit down, we walk past another diner just to eat at Moonstruck b/c the food is better.
